(PC) New character/music changed/fire bombs now invisible for the most part/game area changes

some game play changes and made again as windowed so you can adjust the game screen size.

The game is open world and your looking for a few boxes hidden around the game area, a sign that there's something good to pickup, Hope you enjoy, and yes you can get back to the top from the city level, look for a drain cover on the outskirts of the city, if not already there a platform will arrive from above and land next to it and take you back up.

Please note the score/pickups have no effect on the players health that is covered with fall damage (Android and PC) and the lower (city) tier has only 5 big score objects to find, they are there I promise, mentioned as I put them there and had trouble finding them myself when testing, please see "To come" below.

For those who like a bit of background on the idea of the whole thing, I imagine Custodian is a future world construction company not only building where you might live but a power station of whatever kind underneath, on top, around the buildings built and maintaining it to keep it all powered up, with all and any problems that might come along, but hey the Custodian is here to take care of all that!

As a fan of open world I'm hoping even though the games got a real simple goal, you will enjoy seeing it all while you search and are finding different ways to do the same thing, as in, if you jump off the edge and there's a building underneath you might just break your fall and survive to the ground or you could use a pipe, but which one? etc.

As with the PC version the score/pickups have no effect on the players health.

Climbing down from the big pillar (Android) is possible, try to get the player facing the roof top at the edges and before a fall keeping as close as you can to the vertical wall, its a sweet spot thing. There are easier ways available which I hope you will enjoy finding, using.

Please note: The PC and Android versions will remain different for the time being, the largest difference being no climbing in the PC version.

First things First

13/08/2023 Update: Static trees added, more street furniture added, new rooftop areas added, more/different objects added to generator, more teleports added.

New version should be with you soon 27/7/2023 with the climbing system I wanted to use

in the first place but couldnt get to work. Approach any wall face on and the character will jump onto it ready to climb. Perhaps walk or run into wall would be better to say, run towards building get close then jump use joystick in forward position when you do, this for player to stick to the building ready to climb, higher up the building.

Dont forget you can use the generator anytime, anywhere in the game.

If curbs are a pain either jump up to them or do a forward roll on to them while walking/running towards.

You can enter your own values into the generator just touch whatever rectangle and the keyboard will pop up. Just remember the more you generate the more processing it takes so reduce your numbers if your device lags or freezes for a long time.

Overview

This first recent update to WW was also a reset in order to set things up for any future updates and to cater for as many devices as I can, we all have different processing power etc!

If youre wondering what I,m talking about just think of youre car choice as a settings choice as well.

Tips

OVERHEAD CAMERAS:

Besides being a different outlook and maybe a map reference the new overhead cams in this update can also act as a settings adjust as this view tends to use less processing power, good to know if your device is struggling with "busy" areas. So if youre device is lagging try getting into the blue car and setting it to an overhead cam, drive out to a less "populated" place and change the camera view back when youve moved away.

Sound

The same goes for sound, there is only 1 car in this version that has a full sound array to itself, this is deliberate and I plan to add more. All these things to keep things running as smooth as possible for all devices involved. I dont know about you but when I,m playing a game on any device its usually without the sound or with head phones.

Whats Next?

Plans in future are for an object generator (see Trainery) that way you can control how much you add to your scene. This will probably involve extra buildings and trees, street furniture etc. This besides anything else I might add to the scene in future.
